PA SAVIN is Pennsylvania’s automated victim notification system and part of our state’s commitment to support victims of crime. This service provides crime victims, their families and their circles of support with free, confidential notification regarding an offender’s release, transfer, or escape. The PA SAVIN service includes offenders under the supervision of county jails, state prisons and the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.
Victims of offenders in county jail should go to www.vinelink.com and select Pennsylvania. Then simply click the “Search and Register for Offenders” selection to the left of Vinelink website. For step-by-step instructions on how to register please click on the VINELink Quick Reference Guide also located on the VINElink website.

Victims of offenders in state prison or on state parole must register with the Office of Victim Advocate (OVA) to access additional rights and services available to them. These victims can register for PA SAVIN and these additional rights and services at: www.ova.state.pa.us or calling 1-800-322-4472 or 1-800-563-6399 (1-877-349-1064 -TDD). Just registering with PA SAVIN will not register you with the Office of the Victim Advocate.
No one should depend solely on this service or any other single program for protection. If you feel you are at risk, take precautions and contact your local victim services program.
